House, M.D is also known as House is an American television medical drama. It ran on the Fox network for eight seasons. The first season came up on November 16, 2004, and the last one on May 21, 2012. The series revolves around a doctor, Dr. Gregory House who is a misanthropic and an unconventional medical genius.
He is the leader of a team of diagnostics and works at a fictional hospital called Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. House, M.D falls into the genre of medical drama. David Shore is the creator of the show and also developed the character of the doctor.
The series was largely shot in a neighborhood and business district in Los Angeles County’s Westside called Century City. The show was a huge success within its release and also critically acclaimed. It is also one of the highest-rated series of the United States.
House plays a very interesting character and his methods often clash with his fellow physicians. His hypotheses about patients’ illnesses are based on controversial insights. House also gets into conflicts with his boss as he disobeys and violates hospital rules. Dr. James Wilson is the only true friend of House who is the head of the Department of Oncology.

Lisa Cuddy is the Dean of Medicine at the hospital. She always wanted to be a doctor and at the age of twenty-five, she became one. Lisa was the second-best student in her class. With Dr. Gregory, Lisa had a one night stand.

Dr. James Wilson is the only true friend of Dr. House. His character is compared to Dr. Watson from Sherlock Holmes. Wilson acts as House’s conscience and his sounding board. He has been married three times.
4. Dr. Eric Foreman
Dr. Eric Foreman is a neurologist. He is one of the members of Dr. House’s team. Eric was an extremely good medical student. In the final season, he becomes the Dean of Medicine.
5. Dr. Robert Chase
Robert Chase is a part of House’s diagnostic team. But in season 3, House fires him. In season 6 he is re-hired by House. He shares a romantic relation with Allison Cameron. Chase is very caring towards House.
6. Dr. Alison Cameron
Dr. Alison Cameron was the only female doctor in the entire team of Dr. House. She as an honest and sincere doctor. She held strong ethical and moral values. New York Times described her as Jane Eyre from the popular novel.
7. Dr. Chris Taub
Dr. Chris Taub becomes a new member of Dr. House’s new team in season 4. He is a plastic surgeon. Taub is someone who attempts to challenge the authority of Dr. House.
8. Dr. Remy Hadley
Dr. Remy Hadley is popularly known as Thirteen. She is a new member of the new team after Dr. House dismissed his old team in season 3. In a competition for her position at the hospital, she got the number thirteen and from then she is known as Thirteen.
9. Dr. Lawrence Kutner
Lawrence Kutner was born as Lawrence Choudhary. He is a very enthusiastic doctor. Kutner joins in season 4 but in season 5 he dies off suicide. However, he returns in season 8 as a hallucination.

Dr. Lisa Cuddy hires in the vacant position of Thirteen as a new doctor. House describes her as a nervous girl who has anxious energy.

Jessica Adams belongs to a very wealthy family. She has no money concerns and buys expensive shoes and gifts. As a teenager, she left her home and spent two months living with an old person.

House, M.D was the most-watched television series in 2008. It won a number of awards including five Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, a Peabody Award, and nine People’s Choice Awards. The series finale was aired in 2012 with an hour-long episode.
