2. Small But A Big Bomb In The Market
The movie earned over $500 million. The budget of the movie was only around $150 million. It’s a big achievement for a new hero in movies.
3. Scott Lang
Scott Lang is a thief, whose wife divorced him because of his habit of stealing. He is a great thief.
4. AKA Robin Hood!
Scott was not a normal thief, he used to steal from big criminals, and give back to those, they stole from. So, he is just a funny version of Robin Hood.
5. Hope Pym
The main female character of the movie (most important role in any movie), Hope Pym is the daughter of Hank Pym, the founder of Pym Technologies. She is an expert in martial arts and also, she is a board member of her father’s company. Hope has a genius level intellect and that is why she is able to understand the Ant-Man suit made by her father.
6. Hank Pym
Hank Pym is the founder of Pym Technologies. He is also the former consultant of S.H.I.E.L.D and the former Ant-Man. Later, Hank passed the title of Ant-Man to Scott Lang, which resulted to be the best decision. Also, his wife, Janet Vane Dyne used to fight with him as Wasp.
7. Yellowjacket
Darren Cross was a protégé of Hank Pym. But later he betrayed Hank, and became the CEO of Pym Technologies, and rebranded it as Cross Technologies. He wants to sell his own version of Pym’s Particles to HYDRA.
8. Ant-Man Created Ultron
Old Ant-Man, Hank Pym created Ultron, and who took the credit? Rich playboy, Tony Stark. According to comics, Hank was the one who created the Ultron and only he defeated him.
9. Avenger’s Original Member
Ant-Man, not Scott Lang, but Hank Pym, was one of the founding members of Avenger. Along with him, Wasp was also a part of Avengers. In fact, there were only three other members in the team, viz., Hulk, Thor and Iron Man.
10. Ant With Masters Degree
Scott Lang holds a masters degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for VistaCorp. While working there, he realized that the company was deceiving its customers. At first, he thought it is a bug but later found out that the company was doing it intentionally. He got into the system to give the money back to the customers. Later, he was caught and sent to prison.
11. Giant Man
Ant-Man can be smaller than an ant, and if needed, he can be bigger than a dinosaur.
12. Ant Man’s Helmet
The main power of Ant-Man is only in his suit, but the helmet plays a critical part. His helmet allows him to communicate with other people when he becomes very small or very large. Also, the helmet can be used to command the suit to change the size.
13. Sidekick’s Cameo
The movie features the cameo of Captain’s sidekick, Falcon. Yes, Sam Wilson will be in the movie, fighting with the little guy and realizing why he is just a sidekick.
14. Sounds Like Tale Of Astonish
In the movie, Darren Cross says that the concept of shrinking human sounds like “Tale of Astonish”, which was the comic book, Ant-Man made his debut in. The very first thing they shrank was a chair, both in the comic and the movie.

2. The Box Office Success
I’m writing this on 12th August 2018 (I know this is too late after the previous post), almost after one month of the release of this movie and the box office collection of the movie is more than $430 million on a budget of around $190 million.
3. Team Up
As you saw in the post credit scenes of Ant-Man that Hank Pym give the Wasp suit to Hope. So, now, Hope is suited up and ready for the action.
4. Wasp
Wasp is basically an advanced version of the Ant-Man suit. She has wings. And Blasters!
5. Janet Van Dyne
Janet is the wife of Hank and the former Wasp. She once was on a mission of stopping a missile, for which she became small to the quantum level and entered the missile. The mission was successful, but she stuck in the quantum realm.
6. Bill Foster
Laurance Fishburne is in the movie as Bill Foster. Getting a role in Marvel was not easy for him as he was in DC movies. But he convinced them anyway. Also, he said in an interview that Marvel is kicking DC’s…! Though, it’s not a surprise, as he is working for Marvel now, and you always have applause for your boss.
7. Ant-Man
Our hero is in the movie with some more fun and comedy scenes. Scott Lang is home arrest and has to deal with the consequences of both, being a father and a superhero.
8. Ghost
Ghost is the main antagonist of the movie. To know more about her, watch the movie. As it will spoil the whole experience.
9. A Little Love
As expected, the duo falls in love with each other. They also begin training to fight together as Ant-Man and The Wasp.
10. Timeline
Although the movie released after the Infinity War, it takes place after the event of Captain America: Civil Wars.
11. Ant-Onio
Ant-Man also has the power to communicate ants with his helmet. He can call ants if he need help or more specifically, a vehicle. Though, there are… Murderers!
12. Is Red Associated To Comedy
I don’t know if I’m the only one to note this, but isn’t it crazy that whichever Marvel’s hero has the red suit, say it Deadpool, Spider-Man, Iron-man and now, Ant-Man, they all have a great humor. (It may not make any sense, but it increased the word count of my post)
13. A Bad News
The bad news is that this will be the last Marvel’s movie this year. The next one will be released next year in March, and that will be, you guessed it right, Captain Marvel.
14. Matrix Promotion
Remember Laurence Fishburne? He was also in Matrix and he is best known for his role as Morpheus in that movie. In this movie, they, kind of, promoted Matrix. There is a scene when Bill Foster is in the class and Hank, Hope and Scott goes there to meet him. You can clearly see at the blackboard written with “Matrix”. It would be a tribute to one of the best movie of Laurence Fishburne.
